    The Street Cat and Us

There used to be white cat, beautiful, who came to my padio once in a while. Touched by her beauty, I bought Cat Food for her and started to fee her every day.

She made it a habbit to come every day. While eating, let me pat her. After that, before eating, she would come to the room, let me roll her as long as I want. She would walk around, went to upstairs and stopped when hearing my yelling. She would hide and watch for what I am going to do. If I grabbed her and took her downstairs, she was okay. she just walked around downstairs...she was so easy-going and pleasant to be around. She would wait patiently until I am tired of playing and feed her. She will eat all her food and clean the dishes.

One day she disappeared. Just like that. I guess somebody took her. I was sad for a while. Then comes the black cat. He used to play with the white cat and learned that there is food in the Padio. He continued to come.  But he is so different. He would stand far in the corner of the Padio, watching me putting food in dishes, going back to the house, closing the door. He waited a little while even after that. then he would go eat the food. but he never finishes his food. He would eat a little and walked away.

It's been about 5 months now. He came right on time every morning, waiting in the Yard, knowing that I would bring her food once I see her. Yes, he has been damned right about that. However, he still waits in a distance, although closer, but he still makes sure I go back to the house, close the door before he eats the food. Again, he never finishes it.

This morning, I saw him. I decided not to feed him anymore. I lost patience. I want him to show some affection, I want him to come closer...yeah, everything comes with a price tag, even the price tag is appreciation.

Isn't the same with human interaction?
