今天早上睡了个懒觉， 醒来是突然想到， 要在以前， 陪妈过周末的时候， 就是起来打扫卫生， 安排去哪儿打麻将了的时候了。 一时间意识到， 麻将这个东西其实把中国人牢牢得联在了一起。想想看， 不同年龄， 不同背景， 不同性格， 坐下来就是牌友了。 打多几次， 就是朋友了。 接着小孩生日，结婚生子，包括葬礼， 也都成了交际的缘由。 多一次见面， 多一次牌局。 难怪每个人的通讯录可能都是长长的。 对比一下在美国， 那可是天壤之别。 人人来自世界不同的角落， 语言不通， 没有一个共同的游戏， 在一起面面相诎的， 偶尔一个咖啡break可能都会显得很长。 另外， 家家生个两个三个孩子的， 读书， 课外活动， 送来接去的忙得不逸乐乎。 父母没有电视看， 不知道电影院的朝向在哪儿， 更不要说其他乐趣了。 这样下来， 孩子的朋友的父母就是他们的朋友。 他们和自己以前的朋友没有话讲了， 也没有时间讲了。 信息封闭了。 他们可能有外交活动， 就是朋友的孩子的生日会和自己孩子的生日会。 所以， 你让一个人数数自己的朋友，（不是熟人， 是朋友）， 一般情况下， 一个人可能都不用用上两个手的手指头。 我从来也没太喜欢过麻将。 我觉得太浪费时间， 还有钱。 因为我老输呢。 但我还是以麻将会友，也以次办了不少事。 现在想想， 从扩充交往圈的角度， 麻将还真是个不错的桥梁。大胆下个猜测， 中国经济的腾飞和麻将不无关系。 通过人和人之间的沟通，人们的思路开阔了， 人脉开阔了， 生意也就做起来了。 难道不是这样的吗？

Just wanted to take a break but didn't know what to do. Go get a movie? What then? Short of good choices, I picked one with two pairs of witty eyes on the cover. Then I realized that was Jude Law. I have a tradition to watch every movie played by Jude Law. After all, he is a superb actor. One unique thing about this movie is that it has only two characters. The only show-off of the movie is the witty dialogue, which is my favorite. Two men are playing mind-games for the position of one-upmanship. It is very entertaining and unpredictable. I don't know about the old guy (he actually played the younger part in 1972 version). Jude Law again appears irresistible. He can ben anyone he plays. I have never been able to see any similarity in any roles he has played. He is so charming and talented in what he does. Too bad, he can't hold on to himself. Ah, he is such a beautiful man, everyone (male or female) wants him. It's impossible for him to ignore it all. He shouldn't marry to anyone, period. In summary, Sleuth is a witty movie. It's good for brain and eyes.

Heard on news that Matt Damon had his second daughter. So before my mandatory schedule started, I couldn't help checking the woman in equation out. Luciana Bozan Barroso was a bartender somewhere in Miami. She is said to be interior designer, well, we all know, without naming an organization, it is just as clear as consultant to say a person doesn't have a job. She has a nine-year-old daughter from previous marriage. Again, she is not pretty at all! Who is Matt Damon? He is one of few "lovely" boy in Hollywood. He is into charity. He has the nerd look. He is in charge of certain charity organization. He doesn't have that "I know I am sexy baby" attitude. Yet, in Bourn's identity, God knows how hot his body is! So it is fair to say that he is one of few genuine men left in hollywood. The woman is the luckiest one! What does she have to offer? really!

Things happen everyday. Olympics in Beijing, how many people lost their jobs because of that, how many people paid how much money.... John Edwards...Shouldn't we give him more sense of privacy? Read a forwarded article criticizing people in government who hold dual-citizenship... Small thing like, a friend snapped on me for no reason... Oh well, I had the habit to be sad... Well, all in a sudden I realize, what can we do about it is the key. What can we learn from it? Wait has been out of my dictionary. Sadness will be from now on, of course if I can't help it, I will indulge myself too.
